其實自己還不能完全的了解
但自己實在太喜歡這五首歌了!

《奧德賽》與《伊利亞德》相傳同為盲眼詩人荷馬所作，是古希臘最重要的兩部史詩。
《奧德賽》的故事接續《伊利亞德》，講述主角奧德修斯(Odysseus)在特洛伊戰爭後，在外地漂泊流浪十年才得以歸鄉的故事。
《奧德賽》的故事象徵著人們與自身命運搏鬥與歸鄉的渴望
我想人們之所以渴望歸鄉，是因為在熟悉的環境我們才能做真正的自己。
而Florence + The Machine以此為這5部曲命名，我想意旨不只是回歸故鄉，更是回歸自我。
在尋得這生來註定命運、情感牽絆的避風港，我們將不再迷惘、徬徨，而我們終能坦然地面對自己。

覺得讀不下書乾脆來邊聽好歌邊翻譯lol
歌名Delilah是取自聖經Samson and Delilah的故事
故事中說Samson是一位舉世無雙的大力士，但在受到美女Delilah的誘惑下，講出自己氣力的來源:他飄逸的長髮，結果Delilah趁晚上Samson熟睡時，剪下他的頭髮，Samson失去氣力後，遭到眾人的唾棄。
看到歌詞網介紹這首歌在錄製時，正好是Florence心急如焚地等著男友的電話(所以有holding on for your call的歌詞)
之前在看花果山猴大介紹這張專輯時
說這張專輯是泰勒斯建議小佛羅何不將自己的生活經驗寫進歌裡(嗯... 這真是泰勒斯的專長啦lol
而的張專輯的確聽起來多了許多個人情感
但我想這就是florence的音樂能從眾多歌曲中脫穎而出的特點:
就算抒寫個人情感
她也加入多樣元素(像聖經故事、神話等
當別人接觸到時，就會覺得這是自己瞭解的，不至於產生「你的感情關我屁事」的排斥感
進而將自己的體驗也帶入其中
我想這就是之所以她的歌能保持高度藝術性卻依然能打動人心
雖然就我自己感覺
覺得這段感情Florence好像經營得頗辛苦-3-
但我想感情這件事和這個世界相同
我們只能如此張專輯名
歌頌與詠嘆它的偉岸、美麗與憂愁

我覺得這部音樂史詩
從第一部曲的What Kind Of Man
感覺充滿濃烈情緒的悲壯，甚至可說是苦情
到最近的Third Eye
感覺對自己或一份感情
不再是執著、自憐自殤
而能發展出更超然的情懷
並告訴自己要"change that original life"
其實依這種題材創作的歌曲不在少數
但能這樣創作一部屬於自己的史詩
盡數自己的缺誤並勇於面對
最終讓自己提升到更高層次
把這樣複雜的情緒轉換鉅細靡遺地展露而出
除了小佛羅
我想應該是無人能出其右了XD
多次想說「這部音樂史詩應該是好結局啦!」
但沒隔多久又會有新一部曲推出
搞得人家對自己都沒信心了啦(抱頭
所以這次我學乖要有所保留了!(笑
讓我們一起觀望會不會有第10部曲誕生拉ww
